The Trace of Hometown(2022)

The Trace of Hometown Synopsis

In the first scene of the film, the characters in the story enter a child's dream, trying to return to their childhood by looking for strange and familiar memory images in the dream. The film starts with the director's private memories. The still images come from the images and old films taken by the director back in the village where he lived in his childhood. Through the interpenetration of memories in dreams and the present, it explores how "people" deal with trauma at the psychological level.

The Trace of Hometown (2022) is a film directed by Wu Tianhui, released on March 3, 2022 with a runtime of 7m.
