Morning Star on the Green Fields Synopsis
During the course of her teaching, she unexpectedly discovers that Xiaobate’er, one of the students in her class, is actually the “son” of Chaoluomeng, the young man who works as a wagon driver. Led by Chaoluomeng, the young members of the pastoral farming contract group are precisely the people whom Wurihan’s father, Sangbu, the former commune leader, looks down upon.
