He broke into the big time in the mid-sixties with his big band arrangements of popular hits and classical pieces and his gone on to sell in excess of 100 million albums worldwide. One of the most popular features of James Last concerts and albums are his medley arrangements and String Of Hits brings together some of his very best taken from live performances from the seventies up to his most recent concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
