"Prisoner of War" is a basic war movie with a martial arts theme that expands upon the antagonism and martial competition between a Western prisoner of war and his Japanese jailers. I felt this film could have built upon the core concept of a sort of camp kumite (martial arts tournament) but instead it leads into a watered down great escape scenario.
