7/10I originally thought this was a straight horror film, so I was surprised to find out it was more of a drama, but I LOVED the visual effects!

7/10Check out my full review @ https://movieswetextedabout.com/clayface-movie-review-tom-rhys-harries-leads-a-gruesome-satisfying-dcu-villain-story/ Rating: B CLAYFACE is a grotesque, committed body horror villain origin story that’s refreshingly standalone. Tom Rhys Harries gives a pretty great lead performance, subtle for most of it and menacing when it counts. Naomi Ackie is good alongside him. The practical effects…

10/10The Dark Knight has many tragic villains, and Clayface is one I can't help but feel bad for. This movie is horrifying, heartbreaking and completely original. Tom Rhys-Harries brings the character to life with a tragic and memorable performance. The body horror effects were grotesque and made my skin crawl. This movie has opened the door for a new era of DC films and I'm excited if a few of them end up being horror.

4/10Man, this had so much potential. This just flat out wasn’t good. It was entertaining because it’s an IP we haven’t seen before but the writing was bad, the acting wasn’t great, there was zero chemistry between the two love interests.
