Heads

Heads Synopsis

Set in a retro-futuristic world where severed human heads can live independent from their bodies, HEADS is a horror fantasy adventure following two women as they fight to reclaim their bodily autonomy against a grotesque backdrop of corporate greed and societal inequality. Written and created in the North West, the film’s visual identity draws heavily on Manchester’s industrial heritage, so the region is a natural home for its development and production. With a projected delivery date of 2029, HEADS is expected to become one of the largest stop-motion features ever developed in Greater Manchester, with the potential to engage craftspeople and creatives from across the region.

Heads is a animation, adventure and fantasy film directed by Tiffany Kimmel.
