Márcia's story is told through never-before-seen archival images and the voices of her lovers and friends, from a childhood saved on the streets of Brazil in the 60s until she became one of the first and most talented capoeira practitioners in the world, paving the way for women and queer people in this art. Márcia’s story spans decades. It is big, and queer, and crosses all kinds of borders.
