Soulmate Synopsis

Soulmate is a poignant documentary that follows the journey of a compassionate woman who dedicates her life to rescuing and caring for stray cats. Through her heartfelt narration, she recounts how a single cat’s arrival sparked her passion and led her to open her home to countless felines in need. When her neighbors objected, she refused to give up and sought to establish a shelter outside the city. The film delves into her struggles to secure a location, navigate mounting challenges, and sustain the shelter without any government support. Despite the odds, her resilience shines as she builds a safe haven for these vulnerable animals. But in a devastating turn of events, her dreams—and her sanctuary—are tragically reduced to ashes on a dark and fateful night, leaving behind a haunting story of hope, love, and loss.
