Kiddo(2026)

Kiddo Synopsis

Fairy tales often tell of wicked old witches who steal children and mean them harm. Their role is not merely to make the story more frightening, but to warn children about the dangers of the real world. Drawing on personal experience, this animated short reveals how child grooming begins almost unnoticed before evolving into a cycle of emotional dependency where abuse and affection become impossible to separate. How do you escape it?

Kiddo (2026) is a animation film directed by Gustė Bidvaitė, released on January 1, 2026 with a runtime of 8m.
