The real world and the animated world collide.
The beautiful princess Giselle is banished by an evil queen from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. Honestly I can't really tell if this is wholesome or not? And I can't get into why without spoilers, but I just... A lot of weird decisions went into making _Enchanted_... Still a good time. Has that young & old appeal thing working for it. _Final rating:★★★ - I liked it. Would personally recommend you give it a go._

Amy Adams is really quite entertaining in this latter day take on the "Snow White" fable.
