Fourteen-year-old Roman Nowak, who becomes an orphan. Though his mother raised him alone, she provided him with a warm, happy home. After her death, the boy learns that he still has a father. Romek has serious shortcomings. After his mother's death, changing school and the environment, Will a strict mathematician get a little bit of forbearance and give the boy another chance?
