My wife loves the franchise... I'm 3 deep and really not seeing the appeal. But, I do like the accent, it's a rarity that you see a film with a southern accent on the lead, and that is refreshing. Especially out in Japan, or anywhere that has an American abroad. The High school thing wasn't so much my speed. Neither was the reason why he ended up in Japan, where the problems he would have with driving and racing…
