I've only watched the 1st episode, and am bitterly disappointed. It's trying too hard to be something that it is not. The comedy is too forced and simply doesn't work. Now, I am going to watch the Terry Gilliam film as I love that! One of my all time favourite movies... which is probably why I dislike this cheap knock-off TV series.

In the interests of clarity I don't have Apple TV. I sat down at a mates place who does and we both "tried" watching the first episode of Time Bandits, the series. In short, what a disappointment. What really stood out is this has little to nothing in common with the original film, it clumsily apes.
