Lai Duidui, a college student aspiring to be an artist, struggles academically, especially with subjects like math and English, putting her at risk of flunking. Jiang Zuo, a top student at the same college, offers to tutor her in exchange for her pretending to be his girlfriend to fend off a possessive ex. Unbeknownst to her due to prosopagnosia, they had crossed paths in high school, and Jiang Zuo had feelings for her. As they spend more time together, those feelings may be rekindled, leading to unexpected complications.
