Zabelle Sheran Sharm, queen of Bonta and guardian of the Ebony Dofus, dreams of uniting the nations of the World of Twelve. A prophecy, proclaimed by her son Shedar, foretells her fall and that a boy with azure blue eyes will bring an end to her power. This boy is Welsh, a young cook from Brassica. His life is upended when a black dragon, Asalar, attacks his village. To save his world, Welsh must find the Ivory Dofus, the only artifact capable of defeating Zabelle.
